Other benefits we offer

Projects - Schuler beverage robots

Drink anyone?

At Schuler, hands-on experience and independent work are central from the very beginning. A prime example of this is our beverage robot: dual-track students and apprentices in mechatronics and mechanical engineering worked together to plan, design, and program it—from the initial idea to the finished prototype.

The fully automated system opens a bottle on its own and pours precisely into a cup—a perfect combination of mechanics, electronics, and software.

Within a year, a rough wooden model evolved into a finished beverage robot, which was also used as a course project during their studies.

This project demonstrates how practical relevance, creativity, and teamwork are put into practice at Schuler. Our young talents learn firsthand how modern production and automation technology works—and apply their theoretical knowledge directly.

Today, the beverage robot is regularly in use at trade shows and events, delighting visitors with its precision, technology, and innovative spirit. Maybe you’ve even had a glass poured for yourself?

From Gosheim
to the whole world

At Schuler, we encourage international experiences: Students have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at a partner university—thus combining theory and practice on a global scale.

Our young talents gain valuable insights into international work practices, get to know new cultures, and simultaneously expand their technical and professional expertise.

We actively support your time abroad: financial support, assistance with organization, and close guidance ensure that you can focus entirely on your studies and the projects on-site.
